Coaching for Actors and Creatives

With 10 years of experience working with actors and creatives, I know that having a collaborator is vital.

We are designed to share ideas in everything, but this is especially true when it comes to performance and the craft of storytelling.

As a Director I have worked with professional venues, drama schools, and other organisations. Including the National Theatre, National Youth Theatre, Frantic Assembly, LAMDA, Mountview and more.

I have led, produced, and supported creative projects from inception through to completion. I’ve done this through my company Fable Workshop and on other independent projects.

I have worked directly on productions for a decade and bring to my work a playful approach and style. I believe our ability to play allows us to go beyond our imaginations. Through explorative play we find stories, characters, and approaches that are only possible through collaboration. I want to work with Actors and Creatives to empower that discovery.

Coaching Fees and Getting Started

I am working on a fixed rate of £50 per hour. The sessions will commonly take place on zoom, however I am happy to discuss working in person if required.

For creative projects, these sessions are about equipping you with skills, advice, and direction. You should leave these sessions equipped with goals and practicals tools for achieving them.

For auditions, the coaching can help you to find your best version of the character and performance. I can’t guarantee a successful audition, but you should leave the session feeling ready and proud of your work.

Please enquire about the sessions if you have any questions. Depending on the job required I can suggest how much time I think we may need. However the length of the session is at your discretion.

Before we start I will need to know what you would like to get out of the session, and will need to be sent any materials you are looking to explore. If you are looking at a larger project which requires additional preparation time, then I will advise that this may be charged at my regular rate. All financial agreements will be made before we begin.

The coaching may be a single session or a continued programme. If you are looking for a longer term setup, please do contact me to discuss.
